AmpeAmpe is a simple game played by school children in South Africa. Ampe is best played in groups. The group chooses a leader. Next, the other players stand in a semicircle as the leader faces the players at either end of the group. Then the leader and the player at the end both clap hands. After that they both jump at the same time and put one foot forward. If they both put the same foot forward then the leader is out and the player takes their place. If they put a different foot forward then the leader turns to the next player and resumes the challange. Leaders get a point each time they defeat a player. Once each player has had a turn, they add the points up and the player with the most points wins the game.

KudodaIn Zimbabwe children pay a game called Kudoda. In this game players sit in a circle and in the middle a ring is drawn and then filled with stones. The first player tosses one stone into the air, then tries to pick up as many stones as possible from the ring before catching the pebble tossed. After that the next player has his/her turn. The play continues until all the stones have been caught. The stones are then counted up, and the player with the most points wins.
